Patti Diaz

Patti is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of H2O Trash Patrol. She is a marine biologist and environmental conservationist with over 12 years of experience. She taught environmental education at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point CA as well as worked on an ocean geology research team at the University of California Santa Barbara. She is a TEDx speaker alumni who shares her passion for clean waterways by speaking at events and schools and raising awareness of the challenges facing our oceans.

Lorenzo Diaz

Lorenzo is the Co-Founder and Assistant Director of H2O Trash Patrol. He is an avid lifelong surfer and ocean lover. His passion for the ocean and his many years of managing people make him an excellent volunteer coordinator, outdoor education instructor and standup paddleboard instructor . He is also bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.
